The purpose of the NEPQR grant is to recruit and train nursing students and current registered nurses to practice the full scope of their license in community-based primary care team settings to increase access to care, prevent and manage chronic disease, mental health, and substance use conditions, with a focus on serving American Indian, rural, and underserved communities.
