National Public Health Week is coming!
National Public Health Week is right around the corner, and it’s time to get excited! NPHW will take place April 4-10, 2016. The theme is “Healthiest Nation 2030”. Check out the NPHW website for the NPHW Toolkit, Facts for the Week and other resources.
“Getting Social with #NPHW”
Join APHA’s social media team on March 9 at 2 p.m. EST for a discussion on how to get engaged with NPHW using social media and for information on the upcoming NPHW Twitter Chat. Staff will lead the conversation and answer any questions about working together to build a public health movement. Register now!
Become an NPHW Partner!
Partners help us disseminate messages and materials to state and local communities and the general public. Join us as we recognize public health and create a movement toward a healthier America!
By becoming an NPHW partner you also become part of Generation Public Health, APHA’s movement to create the healthiest nation in one generation. In recognition, we will list your organization as a supporting partner on both the NPHW and Generation Public Health websites.
Submit your NPHW event
Have activities lined up for NPHW? Submit your events now! You can submit NPHW events to be added to the official NPHW events calendar, allowing your community and public health advocates throughout the nation to see what you have planned. In addition to our annual NPHW Forum on April 4, get ready for events that are being hosted across the country during NPHW, like Bowling Green State University’s “2nd Annual Public Health Symposium – Gun Violence is a Public Health Problem”!
NPHW Twitter Chat
This year, APHA will host its sixth annual NPHW Twitter Chat on April 6 at 2 p.m. EST
. RSVP here!
Follow @NPHW to learn more about #NPHWchat and stay up-to-date on NPHW news and announcements! Make sure to use #NPHW in your tweets so users can easily follow the NPHW conversation.
