Maximum of $10MM available for 170 awards – – This U.S. Dept. of Ag. program seeks to co-invest with partners in innovative, workable & cost-effective approaches to benefit farming, ranching, & forest operations, local economies, and the communities and resources in a watershed or other geographic area. Partnering organizations design, promote, implement, and evaluate the project outcomes.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Agricultural or silvicultural producer associations or other groups of producers; States or units of local government; Indian Tribes; farmer cooperatives; water districts, irrigation districts, rural water districts or associations, or other organizations with specific water delivery authorities to agricultural producers; municipal water or wastewater treatment entities; institutions of higher education; & organizations or entities with an established history of working cooperatively with producers on agricultural land.
