The National Indian Health Board (NIHB)’s
2018 Tribal Oral Health Assessment is Still Open!!
NIHB is asking for elected Tribal leaders, Tribal health program directors, and Tribal dental program directors to participate in the 2018 Tribal Oral Health Assessment!
Tribes in Alaska, Washington State, and Oregon are using an innovative workforce model of focused providers called dental therapists. Many Tribes across the country have expressed a desire to bring dental therapy to their communities to help improve oral health outcomes in Indian Country. This assessment will provide NIHB with data to inform our oral healthcare advocacy efforts at the community, state, and federal level.
If you are a Tribal leader, health director (including Urban clinics), or dental director, please complete this assessment byTHIS FRIDAY, May 4, 2018. The assessment should take 6-8 minutes to complete. All responses will remain confidential.
