The public is invited to attend a briefing by the Montana State Advisory Committee to the US Commission on Civil Rights!
During the briefing meeting, the State Advisory Committee will hear from law enforcement, representatives of local, state, and Federal agencies, tribal officials, community organizations, advocacy groups, and the public.
Issues include discrimination that impacts Native Americans in the areas of education administration, local education and its impact on students; healthcare administration and services; and law enforcement, criminal justice and justice reform.
The public is invited to attend and there will be time on the agenda for comments from the public.
